A Book Whose Time Has Come
“Inside the Soul of Islam: A Unique View into the Love, Beauty and Wisdom of Islam for Spiritual Seekers of All Faiths is a must read for all non-Muslims in the United States. I was amazed at what I had heard in the reactionary Internet voices about what the Quran teaches versus reality. As I learned about the Quran, it became obvious just how badly terrorists interpret the Quran. I was admittedly a bit embarrassed about the things I believed to be true before reading this book. This book is indeed a spiritual journey that can be used by all religions without becoming a Muslim. I learned the real role of women and why they wear what they wear and the respect they are afforded where Islam is practiced faithfully. I learned the rules of jihad and discovered that they are quite different from what terrorists practice. I learned how ridiculous the notion is of dipping bullets in pig’s blood was (just one of many mainstream absurdities we are taught in American culture). Most importantly, I learned what the Quran actually teaches as opposed to what I had heard in talk shows and Facebook posts. This book is a great start to a more peaceful world. I felt like it could bring people together on common ground if only people would read it. I hope whoever reads this review will be open to what this book can do for them regardless of how negative their current view may be on the topic at present. It is very worth it.”

“I watched Quran coach a few times and really enjoyed it so I thought that I would try the book. I bought Kindle version which was so much easier for me.
Alhamdullilah, this book is inspired and really motivated me to think differently about studying and particularly to actually count my blessings rather than focusing on the negatives in life which we all too often do. I would really recommend this book to anyone who both wanted to learn a little more Islam and people who are just starting out on spiritual journey.
I do hope that the author writes more books in this easy read style as you can almost hear his voice!! As I’m a very visual person, I had draw a vend diagram and write notes as I was reading but that’s just me and not a reflection of the book itself.
Of particular usefulness is the chapter on thankfulness and even the relevance to paying bills! If do get the book, bare with it at the beginning read it all the way through. At the start, it discusses terrorism and the basics which can be easy to skip it you’re a Muslim but Really recommend that you don’t and just stick with it as the author puts different perspective to these things.”
